Contemporary art making and journaling can record your lived experiences. Holiday travel and its landscapes, hotel and home interiors: snapshots and magazines all offer scenes to paint. Or you can experiment with a weekly colorful still life set-up. Learn to combine new color, brush and composition techniques in abstract, realistic or in-between styles. Positive group critique ends each class. With the help of a professor-guide you can achieve rewarding results in painting, pastel, collage, image-making. Please note: NO class 1/19 This class has a required materials list.

  • Please note: This class is 7 sessions
  • Supplies List: First class: Bring supplies you own in your medium, canvas and/or paper. Basic colors: Hansa yellow, magenta, ultramarine blue, black, white.
