Drawing In Pen & Ink Workshop

It’s all about the beauty of line and line representation when you work in pen and ink- line creates volume, depth, and shading when you work in this delicate medium. Your pen will lend itself to delicate line work when you use Speedball pens ,nibs, and Higgins Inks. Cross hatching, hatching, and stippling are techniques that will be demonstrated by the instructor. It’s a great way to work when drawing landscapes, trees, florals and more. Demos will be given. This class has a required materials list.
Supply List:
Drawing paper of choice- just don’t use watercolor paper unless you want texture.
** Scrap paper for testing ink and drawing
Speedball pens and nibs. You don’t need calligraphy supplies.
Drawing pencil-Hb or 2b
Paper towels
Higgins black ink

Holds a BFA from Syracuse University. She presently teaches at Silvermine School Of Art. Lisa has presented art history lectures throughout Connecticut as well as exhibited her art work.
