Stone Setting Intensive Workshop

Develop confidence in stone setting in this two-day, hands-on workshop focused on foundational techniques and precision at the bench. Students will learn how to prepare settings and securely set stones using a variety of methods: bezel, tube, flush, and prong setting. Through guided demonstrations and step-by-step instruction, participants will practice each technique while gaining clear understanding of tools and methods. Practice work will be done in copper or brass, with each participant completing one finished piece in sterling silver that incorporates one or more stone setting techniques. This workshop is ideal for people with some metalsmithing experience looking to build technical stone setting skills and transition into more advanced work.
- Materials fee includes base metal, sterling silver for one piece, and a selection of calibrated stones.
