Exploring Colored Pencils Workshop

Learn some tips that can help you along-remember to start light and build up to darker shades; blend your colors for great effects.One can work in a sketchy style or one can pursue a more final, burnished look . There are many more approaches to learn about and demos will be given by the instructor. This class has a required materials list.

Drawing paper- Smooth surface: Strathmore to Canson no larger than 9”x12”- just don’t use newsprint
Colored pencils of choice- anything but Crayola. I use Prisma Color
Drawing pencil and eraser make sure your pencil is not too dark and heavy
Sketch paper for practice
Tracing paper- optional
