Discover the art of combining Encaustic Painting and collage while creating a small artwork and a custom gilded frame. Learn simple frame construction techniques enhanced with layers of iridescent Encaustic paint inspired by old-world embellishments. Complete a beautifully finished piece ready to display. No carpentry skills required; all levels welcome.
Materials to bring: Students do not need to bring anything but may bring collage materials like fabrics and images on thin paper.
Leslie Giuliani
Leslie Giuliani received her BFA from the University of Delaware and has studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the School of Sacred Arts, and the Finishing School. She has an extensive education in the materials of making art and is a Core Support instructor for R&F Handmade Paints.
