In this four-week after-school program, teens will explore the fundamentals of metalsmithing while creating their own wearable jewelry. Students will learn essential hand-fabrication skills including sawing, filing, forming, texturing, soldering, and finishing. Projects will include forged bangle bracelets and stacking rings, with opportunities for students to incorporate their own creative design choices. No prior metalsmithing experience is necessary.
