Introduction To Calligraphy Workshop
Adult Online Workshop | This class is completed
Calligraphy is an elegant yet endangered craft. This 3-hour workshop is an introduction to the art form’s true meaning: calli- kalos in Greek, meaning “fine,” and -graphy from the Greek grapho meaning “write." Following an old-school philosophy, and beginning with the fundamental methods and principles of the calligrapher's implements and materials, students will be taught key terms, structural guidelines, scale, angles, direction and basic pen strokes.
