Class Description

Experiment drawing and painting a still life with acrylic paint on a
canvas board. A still life arrangement will be set up and you'll paint
what you see! You'll learn about perspective drawing, color mixing and
painting techniques as well as stories about famous artists.

Special Notes

Reduced tuition on youth classes requires family level membership.

Claudia Mathison

CLAUDIA MATHISON holds a BS in Art Education from Kutztown University and teaches a wide variety of youth classes at Guilford Art Center, Wesleyan Potters, Arts For Learning CT, Lymes Youth Service Bureau and at schools and libraries throughout CT. Claudia has a passion for new and vintage textiles and teaches youth and adult quilting, sewing and textile printing classes. Claudia sells her sewn creations throughout CT.
