Learn techniques for lighting and photographing art. We will briefly cover photographing flat/2D artwork like paintings and drawings but, will emphasize object/3D artwork like jewelry, pottery,sculpture, and weavings. Utilizing both direct and indirect lighting methods we will explore the proper ways to light various different objects for the best photographs. Class will cover setting up basic lighting on a budget as well as more professional setups like light tents. Students should bring an object to class for demonstration.
