To assist you in preparing for this class, we have provided a link to the setup / test pages from the conference provider. If you have never used this conference service before please click on the link below so that your PC or device will be ready to participate in this class.

This workshop was conceived as an opportunity for families to be creative together, welcome the holiday season together and enjoy family time in a relaxed and fun manner. Materials needed are not costly and some substitutions can be made. Make a cup of hot chocolate or cider and join us.

  • Reduced tuition on youth classes requires family level membership.
  • MATERIALS NEEDED:
  • 4 or 5 sheets of 12"x12" card stock ( solids or holiday prints, an assortment would be good) FOR EACH PERSON
  • Shared Materials:
  • Scissors.
  • Pencils and erasers.
  • Ruler.
  • Stapler.
  • Hole punch.
  • Ribbon, yarn, cord, etc. for hanging the ornaments.
  • An assortment of sequins, plastic beads, small pom-poms or buttons.
  • Christmas wrapping paper scraps - red or green backgrounds preferred but any will work.
  • Tacky glue - Elmer's glue will work but Tacky is better for these projects. Glue sticks will not work.

ALICE CHITTENDEN holds a BFA degree from the University of Hartford and a MALS from Wesleyan University. She has studied at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, The Penland School of Crafts and Alfred University. She maintains her own studio and for the past five years has participated in the Shoreline Arts Trail. Her work is in the collection of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, Jingdezhen, China and private collections in the UK, Australia and the US. She exhibits throughout Connecticut
