Stretch into comfort, dazzle friends with bold color, drape and twist in luxurious knit. In "Knit-Pick" you will learn the different ways knit fabrications can be manipulated through pattern-making exercises and demonstrations. You'll learn pattern-making and draping techniques to create fun, whimsical and flirty knit separates all done in your design point of view. You'll make intricate pattern details using color blocking. You'll drape, tie and twist the knit creating shape and silhouettes only seen on the runways of Paris. You'll start by designing a 4 to 5 piece knit separates grouping, using quick sketching ideas. You'll make your very own knit sloper. This tool will give you the ability to create anything your mind can conceive. You'll cut and sew your way right into the stretch. You will leave this course with a one of a kind interchangeable group of knit separates, so let's get knit-picky.
