This class is for beginning and experienced stained glass artists where you will build stained glass works of your choosing using the copper foil method. You will learn how to cut glass, foil and assemble pieces into windows, sun catchers, boxes, panel lamps, etc. There will be patterns for you to choose from or you can bring in any ideas you may have. This class will enable you to expand your skills and make beautiful color creations of light.

  • Bring any tools and supplies you have at home for your own personal use.

  • If needed, tools and a cutting board will be assigned to each student at the beginning of the class session for students to use and take home with them for the duration of the semester. These must be returned at the end of the semester. You will not be able to use anyone else's tools.

EILEEN O’DONNELL has been a stained glass artist for over 20 years. She attended the University of Hartford, Adelphi University, and Paire School of Art. She teaches at Vijon Stained Glass Studio in Old Saybrook.
