Discover awesome properties of clay and its possibilities with throwing and hand building. Students will get dirty and bend, tear, twist, shape, mold, scratch, impress, cut, and pinch pieces of clay to form functional and non functional pieces, which will be fired and glazed. We will work with the potters wheel and hand building to form each individual piece.

  • Reduced tuition on youth classes requires family level membership.

SUSAN DOOLITTLE began creating pottery at a very young age. Throughout her life, she has continued to attend ceramics classes and workshops and has been a GAC pottery studio assistant since 2014. For several years she has taught pottery privately and for an arts program designed for adults with special needs. Sue enjoys sharing her knowledge and excitement for ceramics to fuel interest and exploration of the material to her students.
