To assist you in preparing for this class, we have provided a link to the setup / test pages from the conference provider. If you have never used this conference service before please click on the link below so that your PC or device will be ready to participate in this class.

In this class we will be using scrap piecing techniques to create three useful items for our home - a tablet or laptop cover, a pot holder or trivet and a reversible table runner. Students should have some sewing experience and know how to operate their sewing machines. Join with others who share your enjoyment of sewing and make some wonderful quilted articles for your home.

  • Fabric scissors or rotary cutter, ruler and mat

  • Pencil and paper

ALICE CHITTENDEN holds a BFA degree from the University of Hartford and a MALS from Wesleyan University. She has studied at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, The Penland School of Crafts and Alfred University. She maintains her own studio and for the past five years has participated in the Shoreline Arts Trail. Her work is in the collection of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, Jingdezhen, China and private collections in the UK, Australia and the US. She exhibits throughout Connecticut
