In this 2-day class students will be introduced to painting and collage using the ancient hot wax-based material Encaustic. Learn how versatile this quick-curing reworkable medium can work for you in your artistic practice. Day-one will focus on materials, tools and experimentation. Day-two will be all about the collage process and material layering techniques and embellishment.

Leslie Giuliani received her BFA from the University of Delaware and has studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the School of Sacred Arts, and the Finishing School. She has an extensive education in the materials of making art and is a Core Support instructor for R&F Handmade Paints.
