Henri Matisse once described his collage technique as “Painting with Scissors”. Join us, as we discover innovative ways to create personal collages that artistically build surface and tell a personal story. Students will learn new and fun techniques such as decoupage drawing, painting, smudging, stippling, glazing, layering, aging and more! Students are encouraged to bring personal collage items that can be incorporated into their composition to help tell their story.
