Students will have the opportunity to complete 5 project boards over 7 weeks covering topics that include color accuracy, light/dark contrast, complimentary contrast, cool/warm contrast, saturation, etc. There will be ongoing discussions on how the importance of this major component of creating art is utilized for maximum benefit in painting through purpose and design. Upon completion, students will have gained much knowledge of how to choose, mix and manipulate color to greatly improve their paintings.
