Join us for an artistic and scientific celebration for that special time of year when the world around us awakens! So many wonderful things happen as the ground starts to thaw and insects and animals begin to wake up from their winter slumber. Miss Sally Oberdick will guide your little ones through a spring time art adventure that includes a reading of the children’s classic In the Tall, Tall Grass and a creature-making art activity.

Sally Oberdick has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and elementary teacher certification from Chatham College. She has taught the pre-kindergarten class at a local pre-school for 11 years and has taught children’s classes at Sweetwater for 10 years. She is also a substitute teacher through the Northern Area Teacher Service.
