FULL DAY CAMP!

Visit Fern Hollow Nature Center for an exciting week of adventures as campers hike trails, view insects, and study nature. Learn how to look at the world through a scientist’s eyes. Campers will look
for examples of science in nature during a daily hike then participate in a variety of hands-on experiments to learn more about the world around us. Students will learn about different areas of science, including physics, chemistry, and physiology.

This camp will be held at Fern Hollow Nature Center, 1901 Glen Mitchell Road, Sewickley, PA 15143, www.fhnc.org, 412-741-6136. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS CAMP.

  • Please note: the 10% early registration discount does not apply to this camp. The member tuition rate applies to both Sweetwater and Fern Hollow members.
  • Materials fee is included in the tuition.

Sally Oberdick has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and elementary teacher certification from Chatham College. She has taught the pre-kindergarten class at a local pre-school for 11 years and has taught children’s classes at Sweetwater for 10 years. She is also a substitute teacher through the Northern Area Teacher Service.
