Relief painting creates texture and dimension through building layers. In this 2-hour workshop, students will choose a subject, design and cut from cardboard media, then build their vision into a work of art which comes to life through multiple layers of color and dimension.

Teresa holds a B.A. in Art History and an M.S. in Historic Preservation. Previously, she worked at the Getty Museum, the UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History, and currently teaches early-childhood art education at the Mattress Factory. In addition to art pedagogy, Teresa is a freelance conservator specializing in outdoor sculpture, architecture and monuments. Originally from Southern California - with a dash of adventures around the globe - Teresa has made Sewickley her home
