NEW WORKSHOP! Learn this 16th century Japanese tradition as we glaze and raku!

Bring your bisqued pieces and fire them up! Pieces will be fired in a raku kiln and cooled in combustion chambers. Don't have bisqued pieces? That's okay! Sweetwater's ceramics studio will have pieces available for purchase for this workshop between $5 and $15. All students will glaze their pieces and they will be fired and ready to take home at the end of class.

Please no large pieces!

Children are welcome to sign up for this workshop. Parent/Guardian must be present. Students will be glazing in the ceramics studio, however the Raku Kiln will be set up outside, so please wear appropriate clothing if you would like to watch Meg in action during the firing process!
