Mindful World for grades k-5 integrates mindfulness, art, world cultures and literacy skills with each class focusing on a particular core value such as compassion or peacemaking and a different country’s traditions from Japan to Peru. Each session includes a story, a different style of mindfulness practice and a take home art activity using the highest quality materials. There is also added literacy emphasis with children writing haiku, discussing the difference between myths, folktales and tall tales, and journaling.
