Through demonstration and individual instruction, portrait artist Christine Swann, will teach you the concepts and techniques that make a painting a timeless treasure. This course will cover Classical principles of drawing, form, composition, texture and color as well as how to create depth, light, and atmosphere in a painting. Understanding forms and the law of light will be studied. Still Lifes will be set up and attendees have their choice of working in oil, acrylic, or pastel.
