Come discover this unique process that combines screenprinting and painting techniques using water based materials! Non-toxic, versatile and simple to master. Create unique prints and explore the layering possibilities for overprinting on drawings, prints and other media. The investment of a silkscreen and a squeegee are reusable. No prior experience or skill necessary.

  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date and maybe be canceled for low enrollment if so, your payment will be fully refunded.

  • (Victory will also restretch an existing screen. Call them for details)
    Medium durometer squeegee (yellow)- 17 inch
  • It must fit within the frame of the screen, allowing at least 2 inches around all sides. (Approx. cost for screen and squeegee $50-60)
  • Victory will ship to you, or you may go to Queens to pick up. They are located in Hollis. I have found them very easy to do business with.
    Watercolor brushes, (variety of sizes, flat, bright, filbert or round)

  • Palette or paper palette

  • 18 x 24 newsprint pad (to transport your finished prints)

Navon-Jacobson, Stephanie

Teaching is a passion of Stephanie's. After receiving her master’s degree in 2001 she joined the faculty at St John’s University. She also teaches at Great Neck Community Education, the Art League of Long Island and the Art Guild of Port Washington.  

Stephanie has exhibited all over, including The Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT, National Arts Club, NYC, Islip Art Museum, Heckscher Museum, Nassau County Fine Arts Museum and the Shenzhen Art Institute, China. Her work is in the permanent collections of Queensborough Community College, New York University School of Law, the American Paralysis Association and private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Norway and Israel. Stephanie has been a juror for the Suburban Art League, the National Art League, Tri County Artists, the Long Beach Art Association and the Port Washington Art Guild.
