In this exciting kids' art class, Urban Imagination: From Drawing to Street Art, young artists will dive into the dynamic realm of drawing within the context of Urban Art. This course offers a unique blend of creative techniques, empowering students to express themselves through a variety of artistic styles.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of drawing and shading, mastering techniques that add depth and realism to their artwork. They’ll also explore the concept of perspective, gaining skills to create three-dimensional spaces on a two-dimensional surface. Young artists will experiment with bold colors, graffiti-inspired designs, and stencil techniques prevalent in the vibrant world of street art. Additionally, they will be introduced to the art of calligraphy, discovering the beauty of lettering and how to incorporate it into their projects.

Through a series of fun and engaging activities, students will build their skills and confidence in a supportive environment while learning to blend these diverse art forms into their unique styles. This class is perfect for kids who love art and want to explore innovative ways to express their creativity

Manny Villalobos

Manuel Adolfo Villalobos is a Fine Artist, Musician and Art Educator from New York. He has achieved a bachelors in Art Education from Long Island University Post and is also a co-founding member of the alternative hip-hop group A Side Of Darkness (A.S.O.D), where he goes under the stage name OG Manny G. Through his music and art he expresses socially and politically driven awareness which is showcased in his artwork and rhythmic lyrics.
