Acrylic Painting 101 for Tween & Teens THURSDAYS

This introductory course offers young artists in grades 6 and up a solid foundation in acrylic painting. Students will explore essential techniques including color mixing, brushwork, layering, and composition, while gaining an understanding of how to work confidently with this versatile medium. Emphasis will be placed on observational skills, creative expression, and developing a personal approach to painting. Through guided projects and individual exploration, students will build both technical skills and artistic confidence in a supportive, studio-style environment.

Manny Villalobos
Manuel Adolfo Villalobos is a Fine Artist, Musician and Art Educator from New York. He has achieved a bachelors in Art Education from Long Island University Post and is also a co-founding member of the alternative hip-hop group A Side Of Darkness (A.S.O.D), where he goes under the stage name OG Manny G. Through his music and art he expresses socially and politically driven awareness which is showcased in his artwork and rhythmic lyrics.
