3D, Clay and Mixed Media with Mrs. Michelle

This summer intensive is great for student who like to work with a variety of mediums including foam, fabric, paint, clay and other unusual materials to create art! Mrs. Michelle, an experienced art teacher will share his love of art with your young artists and help them develop their artistic skills.
- All levels welcome! Projects geared towards grades 1-5
- Classes are taught by professional art instructors who are experienced teaching kids.

Michelle Miller
Michelle Miller is thrilled to be teaching painting classes this summer! During the school year, she serves as the Visual Arts Teacher for grades K–5 at P.S. 24Q Andrew Jackson Elementary School, where she works with a diverse range of young artists and learning styles.
Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University (2019), and earned her B.F.A. in Art and Art Education in 2017 from Syracuse University, where she studied through both the School of Visual and Performing Arts and the School of Education.
She is passionate about creating lessons that are flexible, exploratory, and thoughtfully tailored to support each child’s unique creative voice.
As someone who cherished making art during her own childhood summers, Michelle is excited to bring that same sense of joy, discovery, and inspiration to her students. She looks forward to a summer filled with creativity, expression, and unforgettable artistic experiences!
