Focus on Art: Drawing, Painting & More! is an exciting and immersive art class designed for young artists aged 6-11. This course encourages children to unleash their creativity as they explore various artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, and mixed media. Through engaging projects, students will learn foundational art techniques, experiment with different tools and materials, and discover the joy of self-expression.
Each session is crafted to inspire imagination and confidence, allowing students to develop their unique artistic voice in a supportive and fun environment. From learning how to blend colors to creating mixed media masterpieces, this course offers a well-rounded introduction to the world of art, making it perfect for budding artists eager to explore their creative potential.

Sarah Ely is a long-time lover of everything art. She enjoys exploring her emotions through her abstract paintings and drawings, while occasionally diving into digital art. Sarah has taught for the past 4 years at Woodward Children's Center in Freeport for students with special needs. Her teaching philosophy is to make sure all students feel welcomed by demonstrating how art is accessible to all.
