Immerse yourself in the exciting and peaceful world of Quilling! Transform simple strips of paper into intricate works of art! This Quilling Workshop introduces you to the basic fundamentals of roiling and coiling paper.  This class is as much about finding your "zen" as it is about making art. Known for its meditative pace, quilling allows you to slow down and focus on the tactile rhythm of rolling and shaping paper.

You’ll learn how to roll, shape, and glue colorful strips of paper to create stunning 3D designs.

All levels. All materials are included.

Paintbrush is in hand whenever Michelle is on the road, bus or train, or flying through the air.

You might find her sketching in a restaurant, park bench, baseball stadium and definitely at a picnic.

 

A graphic designer by trade and education, Michelle watched her mother paint in watercolor and learned old-school style: practice, practice, practice. Still studying today, Michelle takes a variety of painting classes to hone her craft. Her graphic design business now includes illustration and watercolor commissions of house and pet portraits, scenics, authors and illustrated maps.

 

Michelle has taught several classes at The Art Guild and recently led her first painting retreat in the Adirondacks.

Second annual retreat planned for August, 2026.

 

Michelle has also created a painting group called Suburban Sketchers! We Gather. Paint. And share.
