Creative Mindfulness!
Students will explore how through creative expression, they can find a pathway to reduce stress and boost creativity. Students will learn about various drawing activities and utilize various materials in this mixed media workshop.
What is Mindfullnes? Is the practice of paying attention to the present moment on purpose—noticing thoughts, feelings, and sensations with curiosity and kindness rather than judgment. It is taught through playful, interactive activities through art that help children calm their minds, manage emotions, and focus on one thing at a time.
Suggested for children in grades K-4
