Looking for a fun and engaging weekend art class for kids? This Saturday program introduces students to drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media through exciting, hands-on projects.
Each week, kids explore new materials and techniques while building foundational art skills like color, composition, and creativity. With Ms. Sarah’s supportive and encouraging teaching style, students gain confidence, express their ideas, and create artwork they’re proud of.
Perfect for elementary-aged kids who love to make art, try new things, and have fun in a creative environment.

Sarah Ely is a long-time lover of everything art. She enjoys exploring her emotions through her abstract paintings and drawings, while occasionally diving into digital art. Sarah has taught for the past 4 years at Woodward Children's Center in Freeport for students with special needs. Her teaching philosophy is to make sure all students feel welcomed by demonstrating how art is accessible to all.
