Delelllis, Hannah
Hannah Delelllis

Hannah Delellis is a Long island based Oil painter. She graduated from Adelphi university and also spent a portion of her time studying Illustration at the School of Visual Arts. She is an Oil painter who uses techniques from the baroque era and she is best known for her figurative work. Hannah's work is inspired by artists like Caraggio and the current day Roberto Ferri. She is dedicated to keeping the classical tradition of Oil painting alive in a very technologically advanced world. She believes that there is always more to learn when it comes to oil painting, and it is important to her to keep on learning and teaching others the importance of such a classical craft. Hannah has been in online Exhibitions such as the national art league's 95th annual juried show, where her painting " Is It Better To Live Or To Die" from her senior thesis series " Love Is The Death of Piece of Mind" was featured. Her work includes stories of greek gods and goddesses living through modern day situations with undertones of mysticism. With her work she wants to inspire others to use painting as a creative outlet and hopes that viewers see something in her work that helps them.
