Online: Fundamental Photoshop for Artists (Photoshop 101) with Alan Perlman
Adult Classes - online | This program is completed
Photoshop is a spectacular creative instrument, but only if you know how to use it. In this class you will learn to customize the interface, master the most important tools, explore basic editing concepts and critical techniques including making selections, creating layers and layer masks, image compositing, simple retouching, color controls, and how to do most everything in the powerful ACR workspace. Follow along using the provided resource files, then expand your horizons by experimenting with your own materials. There is no limit to what you can build in Photoshop, starting with a strong foundation. Most any version of Photoshop will suffice, but the current subscription based edition clearly offers the greatest range of options and potential.
- Please note items below highly recommended for the class:
- Students should have a current subscription to the Adobe subscription plan that provides and maintains up to date versions of Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge.
- Please familiarize yourself with the Zoom platform – specifically the “share screen” function so Alan can see your screen when necessary. A tutorial can be found here
