Jewelry & Bead Making with Meagan Meehan

Make your own beads for jewelry in this class! You will learn to paint your own beads and use polymer clay for your own customized earrings, necklaces and more!
Here is the class syllabus:
Class One: Creating Polymer Beads
Class Two: Sculpting a Pendant
Class Three: Making Earrings
Class Four: Enameling Rings
Class Five: Make a Broach or Magnet
- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date so please register as soon as possible. There is a chance classes will be canceled if there is low enrollment. Your payment will be fully refunded if the class is canceled.

- This is an IN-PERSON course. We are mandating that all persons in our indoor facilities wear masks regardless of vaccination status and properly socially distance. Classes may be held outside, weather permitting.

All of our teachers, staff, and models must be fully vaccinated or have approved medical exemptions, and proof will be validated through an original copy of a vaccination card or through the NY State Excelsior Pass. Our class sizes have been reduced. Classes may be held outside, weather permitting. Also, we will continue to offer virtual classes through Zoom. The Art Guild will keep monitoring our guidelines throughout the year and appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this changing environment.

Meagan Meehan
Meagan J. Meehan is a published author and poet, a produced playwright, cartoonist, stop-motion animator and award-winning abstract artist; she also pens columns for Vocal Media, Medium, Great South Bay Magazine, Blasting News, Entertainment Vine, and Kidskintha. Meagan holds a Bachelors in English Literature from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), a Masters of Communication from Marist College, and is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University at Buffalo (SUNY). Additionally, she is a fledgling toy and game designer. She is also the founder of the “Conscious Perceptionalism” art movement that celebrates artwork that can be turned 360-degrees on a wall.
