Bring your ideas to life in this painting class! Any painting medium welcome. This class is for the beginner to the advanced. Steve is a master of realism and will teach techniques, tools, and topics to help you improve your abilities and become a stronger artist.

- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. There is a chance classes will be canceled if there is low enrollment. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

- This is an IN-PERSON course. We may hold classes outside, weather permitting.

- Covid Safety: We are mandating that all persons in our indoor facilities wear masks regardless of vaccination status and properly socially distance. All of our teachers, staff, and models must be fully vaccinated or have approved medical exemptions, and proof will be validated through an original copy of a vaccination card or through the NY State Excelsior Pass. Our class sizes have been reduced. We will hold classes outside, weather permitting. Also, we will continue to offer virtual classes through Zoom. The Art Guild will keep monitoring our guidelines throughout the year and appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this changing environment.

Steve Lampasona
Steve is a modern day renaissance man, with a focus realism. He enjoys working and teaching in a variety of mediums and has also worked on a number of corporate and residential installations combining 2 and 3 dimensional design.
Steve has been teaching in New York City and Long Island for over 30 years. He was an adjunct Professor at Suffolk County Community College and an instructor at the Nassau County Museum of Fine Art, the Art League of Long Island and USDAN summer camp. He opened his own school in 2013, The Artist’s Studio, located on the grounds of the Muttontown preserve and the Chelsea Mansion in East Norwich, NY. Steve has exhibited in several shows in NYC including O.K.Harris and Gallery Henoch, and is represented by the Capricorn Gallery in Washington DC.
