Painting with ALCOHOL INK can be enjoyed by everyone from professional artists to those who have never painted before. In this workshop, you will acquire the basics of painting with ALCOHOL INKS while having fun exploring the beauty of this free-flowing medium. You will learn new and exciting ways to render loose and spontaneous flowers and landscapes. We will experiment with various methods such as free-flowing, pouring, painting with brushes, sponges & much more. You will create individual paintings that will be exclusive and distinctively yours alone. Enjoy the endless ways in which ALCOHOL INK seems to defy imagination. You will be surprised as you watch your paintings blossom & flow into individual vivid pieces of art. The possibilities of what you can do with ALCOHOL INK are only limited by your imagination. I will help you find your artistic voice as I guide you through the flow of ALCOHOL INK

Worthington, Vera

Vera Worthington is a classically trained artist who was first introduced to alcohol inks back in April 2018. It took her many months of daily practice to understand and master the art of painting with alcohol inks, but her drive and determination paid off when she started consistently selling her art at both in-person art shows and online through Facebook, Instagram, and her own website VeraWorthington.com. Especially exciting to Vera was back in February 2020 when she was invited by the founding member and administrator of the Alcohol Ink Art Community group on Facebook to be one of only 15 contributors for the well over 53,000 member group. As a contributor, she offers technique advice, creates tutorial videos, and leads live paint-along sessions which have been extremely well received by other artists in the groups.
