This class is designed to teach you how to see. Once you learn how to see, you can draw ANYTHING! Each week I will challenge how you look at something- still life, landscape, photographic reference, actual set ups. You will gain skills, confidence and improve your drawing. We will explore various materials as well as different papers. Line, value, repetition, shape, color and composition are a few of the topics we will tackle with fun, interesting projects. Anyone can learn to draw in the same way anyone can learn a language or a musical instrument; it requires practice. No prior experience or talent needed. Come with an open mind, ready to experience something new in an encouraging and supportive environment. You will forever observe your world differently!

* No class April 10. Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date so please register as soon as possible. There is a chance classes will be canceled if there is low enrollment. Your payment will be fully refunded if the class is canceled.

  • Click here for our Covid, class and cancellation policies.
  • Please bring your enthusiasm, an open mind, an 18 x 24 drawing pad (NOT newsprint), 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B pencils, and a kneaded eraser to first class. Other simple materials will be required throughout the series.
