Computer Class: Basics for Beginners, Private Afghan Class

What is a computer? What is the internet? What is a search engine? How do I turn the device on & off? Why is it important to reboot? How do I upload pictures from a phone? How do I print? Join computer expert Dr. Vondra Armstrong for an engaging and informative class where computer users can learn or re-learn the basics This is a privately-created class funded by Catholic Charities for Afghan men (translator will be provided by Catholic Charities). Students will leave class with the tools, resources, and knowledge that will help them conquer any computer fears they once had.
Students do not need to bring your own device; the classroom is a computer lab.
- Age Requirements: Ages 16 and up. Kids between the ages of 12-15 may enroll with a registered adult.

Community Education Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be issued if registration is canceled at least 7 days prior to the start of class. Cancellations made less than 7 days from the class date, will not receive a refund unless the class spot can be sold. In the chance that UA-PTC must cancel a class, registrants will have the choice of receiving a full refund or transferring to another Community Education class.
