This FREE introductory nature course is for all who wish to learn more about providing for and protecting the gorgeous Natural State and all the wildlife that lives here. Students will get to create a make-and-take bird feeder and paint a toad-abode for their backyards! Come and learn from the experts with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and see for yourself why wildlife conservation is so important. Bring the whole family, and come to the Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center to experience the beauty of the great outdoors.

If the weather is nice, students may partake in outdoor activities, so wear APPROPRIATE CLOTHES and COMFORTABLE SHOES.

The class is free, but availability is limited, so please STILL REGISTER.

  • Age Requirements:  Ages 14 and up. All participants between the ages of 5-13 must be accompanied by an adult.
