This FREE introductory course is for all archers who wish to learn more about archery and begin practicing shooting with a bow. Archers shoot under the guidance of a certified instructor from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission so that they will learn how to safely handle and shoot a bow. This course offers participants a chance to learn about archery, archery equipment, and the various types of archery shooting. Archery is a great way to sharpen skills, build self-esteem, and create a stronger atmosphere for success! Participants will leave with the skills and desire to keep shooting long after class has ended.

The class will be OUTSIDE, so wear APPROPRIATE CLOTHES and COMFORTABLE SHOES and bring WATER, BUG SPRAY, and SUNSCREEN with you.

The class is free, but availability is limited, so please STILL REGISTER.

  • Age Requirements:  Ages 12 and up. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
