Students will get an introduction into the process of how a part is made with CNC Machines, from the prints and drawing, creating tool paths, machining the part, and 3D printing the part.

Day 1: Shop safety
Day 2: Introduction to SolidWorks 3D CAD 
Day 3: Introduction to MasterCAM
Day 4: CNC Machine/3D Print Parts

  • Age Requirements: Students who are entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade ONLY

    Community Education Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be issued if registration is canceled at least 7 days prior to the start of camp. Cancellations made less than 7 days from the camp start date will not receive a refund unless the camp spot can be sold.

  • What to Bring:
    Water bottle – bring a reusable water bottle, daily.

    Dress Code:
    All campers must wear closed-toe shoes (completely closed - no crocs!) and short sleeved shirts (NOT long-sleeved). Avoid baggy clothing.
    Safety goggles will be provided; however, if the camper wears prescription glasses, they will benefit from side shields, which will not be provided.
