Never fear - this Halloween, you'll have the sweetest and spookiest treats on the block! Even though the classic French Macaron can be intimidating to make and bake, Chef Marks breaks it down into the simplest terms. Learn how to infuse your macarons with a variety of flavors and crack the code on these delicate sandwich cookies. This class will teach you about piping spooky-shaped macarons into fantastical pumpkins and ghosts, perfect for the holidays! Eat them quick and make your own later, or safely store your haunted treats so you're the talk of the town at your Halloween party! Leave with recipes and the two-dozen sweet, spooky, mouth-watering macarons that will make your Halloween 2024 unforgettable!
Ages Requirement: Ages 14 & up. Kids between the ages of 10-13 may enroll with a registered adult.

Community Education Class Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be issued if registration is canceled at least 7 days prior to the start of class. Cancellations made less than 7 days from the class date will not receive a refund unless the class spot can be sold. On the chance that UA-TC must cancel a class, registrants will have the choice of receiving a full refund or transferring to another Community Education class.
Kelli Marks
Kelli Marks has been baking professionally for 20 years. Kelli learned her way around the kitchen as most Southern women do, under the tutelage of her grandmother. Many people might recognize Kelli from her bakery, Sweet Love, where she was well-known for her wedding cakes - of which she has made over 500. Kelli and creations have been featured in Southern Living, Southern Bride, Eat Smarter (a German food magazine), Weddings in Arkansas, Arkansas Bride, among others. In 2021, Kelli wrote her first cookbook, Easy One Bowl Baking: No-Fuss Recipes for Sweet and Savory Baked Goods. Kelli is the 2023 Central Arkansas ACF chapter Pastry Chef of the Year, the 2024 Central Region ACF Pastry Chef of the Year, and the second-place 2024 National ACF Pastry Chef of the Year and she’s ready to teach you everything she knows.
