Nature Series at Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center: Tree ID
Comm Ed - Lifestyle | This program is completed
Come experience a FREE introductory nature course for those wanting to learn more about the variety of trees which keep the Natural State looking so lush and green. Weather depending, participants will go outside to compare bark, leaves, and twigs found in the native plant garden. This class will also focus on the animals which use these trees for food and shelter. Learn more from Arkansas Game and Fish Commission educators about the bigger picture of trees within Arkansas habitats and see for yourself why wildlife conservation is so important. Bring the whole family, and come to the Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center to experience the beauty of the great outdoors.
If the weather is nice, students may partake in outdoor activities, so wear APPROPRIATE CLOTHES and COMFORTABLE SHOES.
The class is free, but availability is limited, so please STILL REGISTER.
