Nature Series at Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center: Snakes of Arkansas

This FREE introductory nature course is for all who wish to learn more about our scaley, slithery friends that can be found all over Central Arkansas! The Natural State is home to 36 species of snakes, some more common than others, but each unique and gorgeous. You'll learn everything you need to know about properly identifying snakes you may encounter locally in the spring or summer, as well as where to find them from wildlife experts with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Bring the whole family, and come to the Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center to experience the beauty of snakes and learn about why conservation of all of nature's creatures is so important.
The class is free, but availability is limited, so please STILL REGISTER.
Age Requirements: Ages 14 and up. All participants between the ages of 5-13 must be accompanied by an adult.
