OSHA Standards for Arc Flash & Electrical Safety Hazards

This course is intended for all employees who deal with electrical work or may be exposed to potential electrical hazards and arc flash hazards, including but not limited to facility managers, plant or manufacturing personnel, and maintenance personnel. It is also for safety directors employed by companies that deal with electrical work. Participants who complete this course will receive a wallet card, which is a verifiable and recognized credential similar to an OSHA card, from the University of Texas at Arlington.

• Limited and Restricted Approach Boundaries for Shock
• Insulated tools and other voltage-rated materials
• Arc Flash Hazards
• Arc Flash Boundaries
• Arc Flash Risk Assessment Procedures
• PPE Selection
• Proper care and maintenance of Arc Flash PPE
• Electrical Safety Program Requirements
