FREE Nature Class: Orienteering

This FREE introductory nature course is for all who wish to learn how to safely and confidently navigate about the Natural State. We will be covering foundational skills like how to use a compass and other types of positioning tools, and then your skills will be tested in an outdoor orienteering course! Learn from the very best experts of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission how to never be lost again, and see for yourself why wildlife conservation is so important. Bring the whole family and come to the Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center to experience the natural beauty of the great outdoors.
Participants will partake in outdoor activities, so wear APPROPRIATE CLOTHES and COMFORTABLE SHOES.
The class is free, but availability is limited, so please STILL REGISTER.
Ages Requirement: Ages 14 & up. All participants between the ages of 5-13 must be accompanied by an adult.
