Croissants for Valentine's Day

Start Valentine's Day off right with buttery layered French croissants! Chef Jan and Chef Chocla will demonstrate and guide you through every step of croissant-making, including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking, where you will make beautiful classic, chocolate-filled, and savory croissants. After class, you will have produced a dozen croissants to take home, PLUS a slab of dough laminated in class, and all the recipes. You will have the skills and know-how to be able to make these perfect pastries at home and impress your friends, family, and significant others on this most romantic and delicious holiday, and every day after! All are welcome - couples, gal-friends, besties, and singles: spend Valentine's Day creating layers of warm flaky love together!
Class is $90 per person. If you need assistance signing yourself and another up as a couple, please email kgustafson@uaptc.edu
Ages Requirement: Ages 14 & up. Kids between the ages of 10-13 may enroll with a registered adult.

Community Education Class Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be issued if registration is canceled at least 7 days prior to the start of class. Cancellations made less than 7 days from the class date will not receive a refund unless the class spot can be sold. On the chance that UA-PTC must cancel a class, registrants will have the choice of receiving a full refund or transferring to another Community Education class.

Chef Jan Lewandowski is the Executive Director of the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute and is the co-owner of Blue Cake/Honey Pie bakeries in Little Rock.

Chef Chocla Lea is the Lead Assistant Teaching Professor of Baking of the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute.
