Baguettes & Challah for Easter

Comm Ed - Culinary | Available

Two doughs with one stone?? That’s right! The French baguette is enchanting yet elusive, but after this class, you can make them endlessly from your own kitchen. You will learn how to make the perfect baguette dough, how to score it, and just what else you can use your pizza stone for! While that loaf proofs and bakes, participants will make the classic braided Challah loaf just in time for Easter Sunday! Don't be intimidated by more than three woven strands - Chef Jan will show you how to make a glorious four-strand loaf so that you will wow friends and family on the holiday weekend. Golden brown, lightly textured, soft and warm, and such a showstopper on the dining table spread. You'll be making BOTH of these breads year-round and never go back to store-bought again!

  • Ages Requirement: Ages 14 & up. Kids between the ages of 10-13 may enroll with a registered adult.
