FREE Nature Class: Reptile Safety

This FREE introductory nature course is for all who wish to learn more about the scaley critters found in beautiful Central Arkansas and beyond. Everything from box turtles and snakes to aquatic reptiles like snapping turtles and even alligators! You have been warned - there will indeed be live reptiles in the classroom, handled with care and expertise by the professionals with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Learn from the nature experts why wildlife conservation is so important, and bring the whole family to the Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center to celebrate our reptilian friends and the great outdoors.

The class is free, but availability is limited, so please STILL REGISTER. 

  • Ages Requirement: Ages 14 & up. All participants between the ages of 5-13 must be accompanied by an adult.
