Self-Defense at Unity Martial Arts: Women Only

Had a lousy Valentine's Day? Want to hit something? Want to be better prepared for your next foray into dating, or really you just want to be prepared no matter what, every day? In this women-only self-defense class, come learn how to improve your abilities and confidence. We will cover situational awareness, escapes, fighting back, and other issues. Open to female kids, adults, and seniors between the ages of 8 to 80. You'll be in good hands at Unity Martial Arts, where the four head instructors have more than 130 years of combined teaching and training experience. Be aware, feel prepared, and enjoy life!
Class will be held on Sunday, February 15th, from 1:00-3:00pm, at Unity Martial Arts, located at 1524 Garfield Drive, Little Rock, AR 72204.
Ages Requirement: Ages 8 & up. All participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Self-Defense Class Cancellation Policy: Once registered, the spot is reserved, and no refunds will be made. You may find someone to fill your spot if you are unable to attend. On the chance that UA-PTC must cancel a class, registrants will have the choice of receiving a full refund or transferring into another similarly-priced Community Education class.
Gretchen Butler
Gretchen Butler combines her personal experience in safety education with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by young women to create empowering, hands-on workshops that build confidence, situational awareness, and resilience. Her programs go beyond physical techniques, fostering a mindset of empowerment that inspires participants to navigate their lives with strength and self-assurance. By connecting with participants in an approachable and supportive way, she is dedicated to creating a lasting impact and empowering the next generation of women to take control of their personal safety.
Tanner Critz
Sensei Tanner is a knowledgeable, rigorous, and friendly martial arts instructor who has been practicing for over 30 years. He holds a 5th degree black belt in Cuong Nhu, a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and has experience in Ninjitsu, Iaido, and Kickboxing. He hiked the entire 2,168 miles of the Appalachian Trail for six months and learned to take risks and pursue his passion teaching martial arts full-time.
